Here's What You Can Do Today

indivisible

Happy Tuesday, Activists ~

We hope you're staying warm and enjoying the snow.  Today we have a Call To Action, a reminder about two upcoming events, and a reminder that you can find out about our 35 Doors Project and do the really good work our Neighborhood Leaders are doing.  See below for details!

And here's a fun thing.  Leah Greenberg, Indivisible's Co-Founder and Co-Executive Director is on this week's Chris Hayes podcast "Why Is This Happening" to talk about our plans for the next four years.  Here's the link to it.  Leah does a great job so I'm excited to listen to it too.

YOUR CALL TO ACTION

One of the most dangerous picks of Trump's cabinet selections (and there are so many!) is his choice of Kash Patel for Director of the FBI.  Appointing Patel to this role would entrench the worst abuses of power and turn the bureau into a tool for political vengeance. Contact our senators today and tell them to oppose Kash Patel’s confirmation as FBI Director.

Here are the contacts --

Sen. McCormick (that's so hard to write) – D.C. office 202-224-6324; email link (scroll to the bottom of the page).

Sen. Fetterman – Phila office 215-241-1090; D.C. 202-224-4254; email link

For outside PA:  Find your Senators’ phone numbers and emails at this link.

DON'T FORGET TO SIGN UP FOR THESE EVENTS

Yesterday we told you about these two events coming up to show who we are -- supporting women in this moment of danger, and choosing to help our community on January 20th rather than focusing on what is sure to be a dark day in D.C.  So come on out!

The signups are here:

BE A NEIGHBORHOOD LEADER!

We aim to have hundreds of people out listening to voters -- to hear their views, concerns, and suggestions, and this is how we do it.  Then we'll find where to go from here.  So if you want to make a real difference, please consider learning more about this project!

You can sign up to learn more about our 35 Doors Project and canvass to doors right in your neighborhood.  We give you everything you need for success - training, clipboards, handouts, door hangers, talking points and the address list!  Reply to this newsletter to learn more.

This is the very most effective and important work you can do to get voters to the polls.  And we have fun!  Reply to this newsletter or email us at vicki@indivisiblephiladelphia.com and let's talk!

You can find more information about how this works in our earlier newsletter at this link.
