We hope you've had a good week. This week sure has been busy but we've made it through! Congrats!
We all are laser focused on our biggest job right now - getting out the vote and protecting the vote. We have several ways for you to do that and you can go to Tuesday's newsletter here to find one that works for you. Keep in mind that we need to win big this November to reduce the threats to take away our votes or that the vote was "rigged" at all.
We know you're worried about the election. So NOW is the time to take action. We all need to be in the game however it works for us. Remember, as Timothy Snyder tells us, no person needs to do it all, but every person needs to do something - and keep doing it. |

 HERE'S HOW TO BANK YOUR VOTE EARLY Get that mail-in ballot dropped off!
Even with this week's SCOTUS ruling clearing the path - for now - for smooth delivery of mail-in ballots, if you haven't already, we hope you are signing up to vote by mail. Check your voter registration at this link and on the same page you'll see whether you've signed up for a mail-in ballot this year. (We need to sign up for it every year.)
The deadline to sign up for a mail-in ballot is October 27 by 5:00 pm, which is really too late. If you haven't signed up, do it today! Here is all the information to sign up.
The ballots are coming out this week. Once you get yours, vote the ballot soon. And then drop it off at a drop box or at a Satellite Election Office's drop box. Here is the list of all of them. Once you drop off your ballot you'll know that it will go to the election office safely and securely. Avoid the worry about any shenanigans!
Once you have dropped off your ballot, check the status at this link. 
No Kings this time is all about securing the vote. We do that in two ways: 1) Election Protection efforts, see below; and 2) "Banking" the votes early - where we encourage voters to sign up for a mail-in ballot and to drop their voted ballot off in a drop box or at a Satellite Election Office early. That's Pennsylvania's idea of voting early.
Here's how we help voters bank their votes early. Our No Kings events will be at the Philadelphia Satellite Election Offices (SEOs). You can see the list of all those offices at this link. The idea is that a voter can apply for a mail-in ballot, hand it in at the SEO, get their ballot back and vote the ballot, and then drop it in the drop box at the SEO - all in one quick trip! That can start happening today!
Let's all show up so voters know that voting in our state is safe and secure! The more we show up with bigger numbers at the events, the more comfortable folks will be to be part of the vote. And it'll be fun! We'll have balloons, signs, maybe some food and music (if you'd like to provide some music reply to this newsletter and let me know!).

TWO WAYS TO CANVASS AND TALK TO VOTERS This is the gold standard!
1) Let's flip a state Senate seat!! Imagine this - we get a trifecta (governor, senate and house) in Harrisburg and what can happen?!? How about higher minimum wage?! And fully funded public schools? And more public transit? And more! Yes, that's what will happen if Dems control Harrisburg so it's really worth our time to help get out the vote for the Democrat running in Bucks County - Eileen Albillar. We met her last weekend and she's a great candidate. It's a coordinated campaign with Bob Harvie running against Brian Fitzpatrick (PA-01) and Bryan Allen, running for State House. 2) 35 Doors Is Back! We're holding a meeting next Wednesday and you can learn all about it. We have an easier message/script this time and a new, easy-to-use app for you to record your conversations. You'll go to about 35 doors right in your neighborhood and remind voters about the election and encourage them to vote early by mail. These are great conversations. VOTER REGISTRATION
For each event, we'll provide all the materials you need and a quick training at the beginning. Registering voters will boost turnout in this November's election.

MORE MOSHANNON NEWS
We have two ways you can help move the Clearfield County Commission to end it's contract for the Moshannon Detention Center.
1. The Commissioners' vote is scheduled for Monday, September 22nd. You can go and show support to end the contract. Where: 212 E Locust Street Clearfield, Pennsylvania (the meeting site) When: Meeting is at 10:00 am; rally beforehand is a. 9:30 am
2. You can contact the Commissioners and tell them that having Moshannon is a stain on our state and that we care about it because our neighbors are being taken there and are being abused. Phone banking and talking to other humans is a key driver of votes. You can do just that by taking your pick below. Training is always part of the beginning of the sessions.
