The Voters Roared!

Happy Thursday, Activists!

You did it!  Voters made a seismic shift happen on Tuesday.  We voters didn't just speak, we roared!  And your solid efforts to get out the vote, register voters, educate voters, help voters to vote, and all of it, helped a ton.  Pat yourselves on the back!

You can see a solid review of the results - in maps, charts, graphics - here.  I don't know about you, but I just want to keep taking it all in and savoring these sweet, sweet wins.

We'll have more to do soon, but for now, let's all take a break and bask in the sunshine of this amazing victory.  

OUR POST ELECTION EFFORTS

Things have changed a lot since Tuesday's tsunami of an election.  As of now, the post-election waters are calm - thanks to the blowout you helped create!  So we don't see a need to mobilize now.  But you never know what might happen so we'll stay vigilant and let you know if that changes.  

Importantly, we'll now have two months of the lame duck period. Congress comes back to D.C. next week and they will start to plan voting for Speaker of the House and Senate Leader.  (Yay!).  We'll have more to say about that next week. 

SATURDAY - THE VOTERS DECIDED RALLY

BRING THE JOY!

This Saturday, November 7th at Noon at City Hall (South Apron) you can join this rally sponsored by AFL-CIO and many other groups including us.  The rally is at City Hall with a march to Independence Mall.  

Bring your "Voters Decide" signs or whatever victory signs you have and we'll see you there!
