Let's Get The Word Out!

Happy Tuesday, Activists!

Whew we have a busy week and weekend coming up!  We'll be writing to voters about voting to save abortion access, canvassing to them to see what's on their minds, and registering voters at a really fun event.  See it all below!  We hope to see you there.

And while we're thinking about the Dobbs decision and the Supreme Court, see our recent newsletter's Call To Action and make the calls for oversight of this out-of-control and ethically challenged court.  If you've already made the calls -- do it again!  The more you call the better.

CANVASS AND TALK TO VOTERS

This Saturday!  We're canvassing to Philadelphia voters in the Oxford Circle neighborhood.  We were there every Saturday for the midterms and it's a great neighborhood.  It has easy access, houses close together to make canvassing easy, and great street parking.  And nice people!  You should join us!

We do this because canvassing is the most effective method to get voters to vote.  And we'll meet for breakfast, which is on us!

These will be fact-finding conversations, to find out what's on voters' minds and ask about the issues most important in their lives.  Simple as that.  No trying to convince a MAGA voter to switch to a vote for Biden.  We just need to get Democrats out to vote!

We'll provide everything you need and a training at the beginning.  And you can canvass with a buddy if you want.

Sign Up For Canvassing

When:  Saturday, June 22, 11:00 AM

Where:  Country Club Diner, 1717 Cottman Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19111

OUR NEXT POSTCARD EVENT - THIS THURSDAY

Our next Cards & Coffee is this Thursday, June 20th at 11:00 AM.  June 24th is the two year anniversary of the infamous Dobbs ruling, so we are focusing on abortion access with our special abortion rights postcard.  We will supply them too!

Join us to write to voters and remind them that we can't let Republicans win, because as they have promised, they will continue to strip women of their rights.

When:  Thursday, June 20th at 11:00 AM

Where:  Location disclosed once you sign up

Here's the card!

Live in a high-rise apartment building?

We are setting up voter registration drives in the lobbies of apartment buildings.   We would love some help making connections with building management, so if you live in an apartment building, let us know!  Let's talk about how you could help us ask the management of your building about setting up a simple drive in the lobby.  Email us at vicki@indivisiblephiladelphia.com and let's talk!

Register new citizens at US Citizenship and Immigration Services

The folks at PICC have started voter registration again at the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.  First there is a mandatory training online and you can sign up at this link.  Then you'll be all set to sign up to register new citizens!  This is great work.

BE A NEIGHBORHOOD LEADER!

You can sign up and help save democracy!   Join our 35 Doors Project and canvass to some doors right in your neighborhood. We give you everything you need for success!  Reply to this newsletter to learn more.

It's the very most effective and important work you can do to get voters to the polls.  And we have fun!  Reply to this newsletter or email us at vicki@indivisiblephiladelphia.com and let's talk!
