Our 35 Doors Program

This is why we do it.

We know that research tells us that the gold standard for getting out the vote is to canvass and talk to voters at their doors.  But when you pair that with canvassing to your neighbors, it's even more powerful.  This is because you have more credibility as a neighbor.  And when you go more than once, the voter gets to know you and rely on the information you are bringing them.

For this year's election, it's even more critical.  We have judges on the ballot and people don't think it's important to vote for judges, so they don't show up.  To make it even more confusing, five of the judges on the ballot are up for retention and won't have an opponent or party designation.

Plus, voters don't know much about these races because there is not much news coverage about them.  In fact, it is likely that the only information they will have about the election is what we give them. (Unlike last year.). So every door we knock, every voter we talk to, is really important!

One caveat: Because of logistics realities, this program is for Philadelphia homes only.

This is how it works.

1. We give you a list of about 35 voters' homes in your neighborhood.  These are infrequent voters and non-Republicans.

2. We train you to use MiniVAN, the app that gives you the addresses, names and a script to use.

3. Plus, we give you talking points, handouts for the voters, and door hangers to leave if nobody is home.

4. Plus we train you in how to do it all!

So now, what do you do?

Sign up here to learn more about it!  We'll explain it all and you can decide if you want to be part of this fantastic team!  We can't wait to tell you all about it!

Here's where we need extra help

We have done an analysis of where our Neighborhood Leaders are concentrated in the city and of the Philadelphia zip codes where we have less coverage and where it would be even better to have more.  If you live in any of these communities, your work would be even more important to get out the vote!  But no matter what and wherever you canvass, your work matters a whole lot to this election.

Zip codes:

19115        19138

19116        19142

19122        19145

19126        19149

19135        19151

19136
