Happy Friday, Activists!
We hope you're having a good week and that you have a wonderful Memorial Day weekend. We hope you've signed up for next week's virtual Town Hall with Congressman Raskin and for the NO KINGS protest march and rally on June 14! If not, now's the time! And tell your friends about them too. Send them the links to sign up.
![]() OUR NEXT EXCITING MEETING! MEET CONGRESSMAN JAMIE RASKIN - BRING YOUR QUESTIONS
We are excited to have a virtual Town Hall on May 28th at 5:30 pm. Our special guest will be Maryland Congressman Jamie Raskin! He'll give us his thoughts on where we are now, what we must do next, and he'll answer your questions.
You can submit the questions you want us to ask Congressman now. Just use this form to enter your question.
We'll meet on Zoom at 5:30 pm on Wednesday, May 28th.
![]() June 14th is a busy day! It's Flag Day and it's the 250th birthday of the U.S. Army. It's also the day Trump has announced a big military parade for his birthday. Sounds like a great day for a rousing, non-violent, and huge protest to shout we have NO KINGS in this country! So let's get to it!
We have no desire to feed his ego. We will show that power isn't centered in D.C. It rises up in towns large and small everywhere else. As a result, Philadelphia has been selected as the NATIONAL ANCHOR EVENT FOR JUNE 14TH! So let's show up!
We will start at Love Park, 15th and JFK Boulevard, at Noon. Then we'll march to the Art Museum, which is where we'll have our rally. Sign up here. And after you sign up, tell your friends to sign up too! This is going to be fantastic!
Once you sign up we can update you on any more details as we know them.
Also, we will need marshals to help direct the crowd and de-escalate conflict. You can sign up here. No experience is necessary and you will be trained and have all the information you need for success.
CALLS TO ACTION Check out the Calls To Action in Tuesday's newsletter at this link.

LEAFLET PHILLY!
We're gearing up for our next round of leaflets - this time about the cuts to medical research. Sign up here to join this fantastic team.
This project is a fun, easy way to increase voter engagement across Philadelphia (and maybe burn off some of that anxiety we're all feeling).
Each month we design a door hanger with a simple, timely and compelling message for our neighbors. The door hangers will link Republicans to the chaos and misery they create and show Philadelphians how they can take action — with the goals of moving people into action and of increasing voter turnout over the next four years. Sign up here. You'll get 100 door hangers to simply hang on every door up and down blocks near you. It’s quick and easy — no knocking, no lists, just leave the leaflet on the door and stroll on to the next one! You pick the day that’s most convenient for you and repeat a month later.
BE A NEIGHBORHOOD LEADER!
You can sign up and help save democracy! Join our 35 Doors Project and canvass to some doors right in your neighborhood. We give you everything you need for success - training, clipboards, handouts, door hangers, talking points and the address list! Reply to this newsletter to learn more.
It's the very most effective and important work you can do to get voters to the polls. And we have fun! Please go to this link to get started and we'll be in touch.
You can find more information about how this works in our earlier newsletter at this link.
