35 DAYS UNTIL THE PRIMARY ELECTION Happy Tuesday, Activists! We hope your week is off to a wonderful start, as we soak in some beautiful weather. We have all your primary election information below to get you ready. Once you do that, tell three friends and remind them to vote. And then ask them to each tell three friends. This is one way to get out the vote! Because this received such a big response the last time we posted it, we are posting again some worthwhile organizations listed by NPR, which are helping supply support in Ukraine. We are grateful to be part of this Indivisible Philadelphia community, with so many of you showing generous and thoughtful support to those in desperate need.
CALL TO ACTION We're asking President Biden to take another executive action to improve lives. See the other actions we've been asking him to take, like using the Defense Production Act for climate action and canceling student debt. Next up, drug pricing. One in four Americans struggles to afford medication they need to stay healthy, while Big Pharma drives up drug prices to line their pockets. It’s time President Biden use his legal authority to dramatically lower the cost of essential drugs. Call or email the White House and tell President Biden to use his existing legal authorities via executive action to dramatically lower costs of essential drugs like insulin, drugs that reverse opioid overdoses, hepatitis C drugs, HIV/AIDS drugs, cancer treatments, EpiPens, asthma inhalers, and COVID-19 treatments. CALL VOTERS - HELP HOLD ONTO THE HOUSE! There's so much talk about whether Dems can hold the House. We have a way to hold the House right here. Join your Indivisible PA friends to call voters for Matt Cartwright, a Democrat running to keep his House seat in PA-08 (Scranton area). Rep.
