Happy Friday, Activists!

We hope you've had a great week. And we hope you enjoyed our meeting on Wednesday with Congressman Jamie Raskin.  We heard positive reviews from so many of you, and thanks!  Here are your upcoming rallies and events. And you can make some calls from Tuesday's calls to action.

Hope you have a great weekend!

June 14th is a busy day!  It's Flag Day and it's the 250th birthday of the U.S. Army.  It's also the day Trump has announced a big military parade for his birthday.  Sounds like a great day for a rousing, non-violent, and huge protest to shout we have NO KINGS in this country!  So let's get to it!

Activists won't be in D.C. for this event because we don't want to feed his ego.  As a result, Philadelphia has been selected as the NATIONAL ANCHOR EVENT FOR JUNE 14TH!  So let's show up!

We will start at Love Park, 15th and JFK Boulevard, at Noon.  Then we'll march to the Art Museum for the rally.  Sign up here.  And after you sign up, tell your friends to sign up too.  This is going to be fantastic!

Once you sign up we can update you on any more details as we know them.

Also, we will need marshals/peacekeepers to help direct the crowd and deescalate potential conflict.  You can sign up here.  No experience is necessary and you will be trained and have all the information you need for success.

And here's something you can do to spread the word.  Post this graphic in your social media feed.  Save the graphic and then post it.  The QR code goes to the signup form as does the link below it.  👇🏼

YOU CAN HELP PLANNED PARENTHOOD

On June 7, anti-choice activists will be attempting to block the entrance to our local Planned Parenthood clinic.  They will try to intimidate patients from obtaining the healthcare they are entitled to.

You can help stop this intimidation by showing up with others for only a short time - from 9:00 to 10:00 am to block access to their route and keep this group from gaining access to the area right around the clinic.

How can you do this?  Simply show up at the Elizabeth Blackwell Women's Center at 1144 Locust Street at 9:00 am and follow instructions from the volunteer leaders.

LEAFLET PHILLY!

We're gearing up for our next round of leaflets - this time about the cuts to medical research. Sign up here to join this fantastic team.

This project is a fun, easy way to increase voter engagement across Philadelphia (and maybe burn off some of that anxiety we're all feeling).

Each month we design a door hanger with a simple, timely and compelling message for our neighbors. The door hangers will link Republicans to the chaos and misery they create and show Philadelphians how they can take action — with the goals of moving people into action and of increasing voter turnout over the next four years.  Sign up here. You'll get 100 door hangers to simply hang on every door up and down blocks near you.  It’s quick and easy — no knocking, no lists, just leave the leaflet on the door and stroll on to the next one! You pick the day that’s most convenient for you and repeat a month later.

Sign up here.
