Well, another election is in the books.  Our many thanks to everyone who worked at the polls, canvassed to voters, made phone calls to get ballots corrected, answered voters' questions at the hotline, and anything else you did to help make this primary election a success.  Thank you!!

POSTCARDS!

Yes!  Today is the day you can mail your postcards.  Or tomorrow.  Or the day after that.  Or whenever you can do so fairly soon.  We just needed them to be sent after the primary election.   As a reminder, these postcards are meant to educate voters about the improvements being made in their neighborhoods because of the laws Democrats passed a couple of years ago.  We know they are not aware of these incredible funding sources or why the improvements are happening in their neighborhoods. 

And speaking of postcards, we'll have new ones coming very, very soon!  And the scripts for you to write on these will be super short.  And I mean super short!  Yay!  We think you will quite like them.  Stay tuned!

VOTER REGISTRATION FUN!

We will be registering voters at the very fun Kensington Derby And Festival.  The event is on May 11 and we have three two-hour shifts set up to cover this six hour blast of fun.  There will be lots a food trucks, live music and entertainment. 

And we'll have a tent set up and signs, and we'll give you everything you need to register the festival-goers.  The last time we did this one we registered a LOT of voters -- in the rain!  Let's hope for clear skies this time.

So come on out, enjoy the day and the festival and register some voters!

When:  May 11, Noon to 6:00 pm

Three shifts -- Noon - 2:00; 2:00 to 4:00; and 4:00 to 6:00

Where: Corner of Frankford Avenue and York Street.  More details once we know where our tent will be set up.
