Happy Tuesday, Activists!

Whatever holiday you have been celebrating, we hope you had a happy Hanukkah, and you are having a joyous season of Christmas and happy Kwanzaa.  This week is surely a busy one, but if you can, please make a few calls and emails and keep up the pressure on our elected officials to do the right thing.

Thank you as always for all your work with us on this and everything else!

CALLS TO ACTION

Tell Congress - Demand Action on the Release of the Epstein Files

On Friday, the Trump regime blew past the legal deadline set by the Epstein Transparency Act to release all the Epstein Files, releasing instead a tiny, selective, and heavily redacted portion of them. A few more documents were released last night.  This government-wide cover-up was already a scandal -- now, it’s blatantly illegal.

Email a message to our Members of Congress demanding to know what they’ll do to uphold the law and give Epstein’s survivors the justice they deserve.  Contact info below.

Tell Our Senators - Block Trump’s March To War With Venezuela.

Trump is continuing to escalate his warmongering: On Saturday, the Coast Guard boarded an oil tanker that doesn’t even appear on US lists of sanctioned vessels; Hegseth’s “Department of War” is now in active pursuit of a third oil tanker; and last week saw an uptick in drone attacks on small boats, bringing the total number of people needlessly killed to at least 100 and threatening a full on invasion of Venezuela. You can see our full explainer in our recent newsletter.

The Senate will be voting after the holiday on War Powers legislation that would block the march to war. Call your senators and urge them to vote yes.

THE NEXT NO KINGS

We know many of you are looking forward to the next No Kings protest. And if the texts and emails I'm getting are any indication, several groups not affiliated with the No Kings coalition are fundraising off the expectation of the next No Kings.

However, please know that the official word is that the date has not yet been scheduled but it is likely to be in the spring.  Let's face it, it's too cold right now to create a huge turnout anyway!  But it’s definitely coming, and when it is, we'll let you know and we'll see you there!

Join this exciting team and hang door hangers once a month. It's easy and effective!

Here's how it works. You'll receive 100 door hangers to hang on door knobs up and down the block. We'll give you the specific blocks near your home for you to go to.

We're currently dropping 54,000 door hangers around the city right now - that's 10% of the city's reachable doors!  We're reminding people that those higher food prices for their holiday meals are not in their imagination - plus who is causing it and who to call about it.
