Happy Tuesday, Activists!
We hope you had a great weekend and stayed dry! Today we've got another lousy bill to make calls about.
CALLS TO ACTION
1. Have you heard about the CLARITY Act? Last year, the House passed the bill (H.R. 3633), a bill disguised as “crypto regulation” that actually serves the billionaires and bad actors at the center of today’s crypto chaos. This bill doesn’t protect consumers, doesn’t close money laundering loopholes, and does nothing to stop the biggest threat of all: Trump’s crypto-fueled bribery machine. Now, the CLARITY Act is being considered in the Senate.
Trump has already amassed $1.4 billion in the last year alone, and the latest text of the bill doesn’t include any meaningful language to fix the harms from crypto.
Unfortunately, 78 House Democrats helped pass the CLARITY Act in the House last summer. We need to make sure Senate Dems don’t make the same mistake. Call Senator Fetterman and ask him to oppose the CLARITY Act when it comes up for a vote. Tell him that you expect him to oppose this corruption.
2. Sign up for Indivisible's Hands Off Our Vote, program to protect the midterm elections. Last week, the Senate confirmed election-denier Jay Clayton to serve as Director of National Intelligence. Trump has another lapdog to carry out the dirty work of election interference. We will work to counter their chaos with robust preparation to block election subversion. (If you’re ready to jump in headfirst, check out our Election Protection 101 and 201 trainings later this month and the toolkit to get involved no matter where you live right now.). Remember, if you sign up but can't attend live, you'll receive the recording and all the information from the meeting.

READY TO GET INVOLVED IN THIS YEAR'S ELECTION?
We'll have a LOT more for election protection for you very soon, but you may be interested in the City Commissioners' event coming up next Thursday. See the details below!
Are you a long-time poll worker - go and be recognized! And if you're interested in learning more about it, you can go and find out what it's all about. This is a really important role in keeping our elections safe, so you can be part of it!
![]() BRING THE EPSTEIN FILES TO PHILLY!
Have you heard about the Trump Epstein Bookmobile? It's the ingenious project in which the founders copied all of the Epstein file documents released so far, printed them out - all 3.5 million files, and loaded them into notebooks. They have been on view for people who come to the building where they were housed in New York City.
But now, they are on the road in a truck! They are visiting cities around the country and you can vote for them to come to Philadelphia so the public can view them here. It's every page they released, and a demand for every page they still won't. See what they're covering up. It's important that the public sees at least some of them so we can push our elected officials to get the rest released. We don't what any of them to forget about this massive injustice! Here's the link for more info and to vote!
JOIN OUR DETENTION CAMP LABOR LETTER-WRITING PROJECT
And don't forget! Sign up for this important letter-writing campaign. As we saw with our Citizens Bank letter-writing project - and the Citizens announcement they are doing what we demanded - these letters make a difference!
Our Detention Camp Labor Project, where you'll join over 870 other letter-writers, in pushing companies to commit to not use detention camp labor. The DCL Team emails volunteers weekly lists of a few corporations or organizations to send letters to. These emails will include details about how to address your letters and key talking points.
Help women going to Moshannon to visit their loved ones
Women trying to make their visits to loved ones at Moshannon are turned away over and over again for some shaky reasons or no reason at all. Sometimes the reason is due to some of the articles of clothing they are wearing. You can send Indivisibles in the area items from this Amazon wish list (we know, it's Amazon, but it works). Then volunteers will staff the areas outside the entry and hand out the "acceptable" clothing you donate. (I believe the clothing can be re-used.) Use this link to send the items to help women gain access to see their loved ones.
