Happy Tuesday, Activists!

We hope you had a good weekend.  And we hope you're getting ready for No Kings 3!  Check out the last two trainings below that Indivisible is offering to create a safer and more joyous experience. It's going to be fun!

Don't Forget - Join Our Detention Camp Labor Project - Write Some Letters!

Join the over 750 others who are writing two letters a week in our new Detention Camp Labor program!  You can join the team too and write a couple of letters a week to the companies we are focusing on. Sign up here and we'll give you all the information you need!  Check out the project's background at this link.

 CALLS TO ACTION

1)  Let Sen. Fetterman know how disappointed you are he voted to advance Trump’s DHS nominee Markwayne Mullin. Over the weekend, the Senate advanced Trump’s handpicked-nominee to lead his deportation machine at DHS, Markwayne Mullin. Every Democratic Senator voted against advancing Mullin -- except Senators Fetterman and Heinrich.  And this week the Senate voted to confirm him. It’s important that his we reach out to express opposition to his enabling of this fascist regime.

2. Tell Congress: DON'T FUND TRUMP'S WAR! The war on Iran has been a disaster since Trump and his cabinet of warmongers and sycophants launched it. As of this writing, 13 U.S. service members, 1,500 Iranians, and over 1,100 civilians across the region have been killed. That carnage has already cost taxpayers billions of dollars and sent the cost of basic necessities through the roof. Demand that our senators and your representative use their power to refuse Trump's demand for more money, conduct meaningful oversight, keep forcing votes on War Powers Resolutions (more this week!), and oppose the war publicly.

NO KINGS 3!

Sign up here!

We're getting ready!  Only 4 days to go until the third No Kings!  Join us as part of the millions around the country to create the largest day of protest in US history, with 3,100 protests nationwide.   Sign up here!

We will gather at City Hall starting at noon, with music including a band and a great drum line.  We'll start the march at 12:30 down the Ben Franklin Parkway.  We'll hear music from a DJ as we march.  Then we'll rally at about 1:15 at 22nd Street with some exciting speakers.  And then (drum roll please) more music and a dance party with an exciting band!  (We'll announce their name soon.)  Sign up here!

For those will mobility issues we'll have folding chairs set up in front of the stage at 22nd Street.  So if you can't march from City Hall, you can come to 22nd Street at about 12:00-12:30 and take a seat!  We will have volunteers there to guide you.

By joining together we'll make this No Kings 3 a success and show in no uncertain terms that we stand against the authoritarian takeover of our government. We expect the crowd to be bigger than ever as we show our power against this regime.
