TOMORROW IS NO KINGS!
Happy Friday, Activists!
Let's talk about tomorrow's No Kings: Vote Early in Philadelphia! A few of you have had questions about how it's going to work. It's all below and we'll see you there! Reply to this newsletter if you have any questions.
Check out Tuesday's newsletter for all your election information. Remember that Monday is the deadline to register to vote! The application is here. Check your registration status here.
No Kings: Vote Early is all about getting voters to bank their votes early.
The hours of the event are 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Come whenever you can and stay for as long as you can. We will have at least one person leading the event at your location.
Tomorrow we will help people register to vote if they need to and also encourage voters to turn in their mail-in ballots now. If you have your ballot, bring it and drop it in the drop box! Don't wait. And we'll encourage voters to vote On Demand. Here's how that works.
1. Go to a Satellite Election Office or City Hall. Locations at this link. 2. Receive and complete the mail-in ballot application and hand it in. 3. Office staff will process your application and hand you the ballot. 4. Vote your ballot and complete the process with signature and date on the outside envelope. 5. Drop it in the drop box right there. That's it! You've voted "early"!
Where will be tomorrow? We'll hold 10 events at all but one of the Satellite Election Offices and City Hall.
Here are the locations, and sign up here to go to the office of your choice. 1619 Grant Ave 1835 S Broad St 2739 N 5th St 4029 Market St 5301 Chew Ave 6100 Woodland Ave City Hall, 1400 John F Kennedy Blvd, South Portal, Room 140
And what will you be doing tomorrow?
One final note. The weather is taking a colder turn, so dress warmly!
POST-ELECTION DISCUSSION AND SUFFS EVENT!
We've changed up our plan for the SUFFS fundraiser meeting. It's now a double-header!
The first half of the event will be a discussion of our post-election efforts. So come and find out what is planned at this point in time. We know many of you are wondering what this will look like. It's an important discussion and we hope you'll join in.
The new plan for SUFFS will make it easier for you to attend while it will still be fascinating. Now it's the second half of this double-header. In the second part of the meeting we'll be energized by the story of the suffragists and their struggle for the vote for women. It's powerful and inspiring, to say the least.
Also, you can still donate to support our No Kings and our post-election efforts. If you can, any amount will be enough. It all helps and we are so grateful for your support!
