Postcard Update News!

Happy Tuesday, Activists!

We hope you're having a good week! Did you watch the State of the Union address last week?  Did  it give you a little spring in your step?  It sure did for us!  We're going to allow ourselves to keep that good feeling alive because there will be ups and downs this year.  So let's savor these great moments while we have them!

Today we have some news about our postcard project and we hope you've signed up for our meeting next week with Senator Bob Casey.  If not, you can do it below!

Our PA/DE Statewide Indivisible team has set up a meeting with Senator Bob Casey!   It will be on March 19th at 7:30 pm, so mark your calendars!  This will be a very exciting and information-filled meeting.  Sign up below and we'll see you there!

When:  Tuesday, March 19 at 7:30 pm.

Where:  Zoom

And if you'd like, you can submit questions you'd like us to ask Sen. Casey at this link.  The deadline to submit questions is this Wednesday.

Well, you awesome postcard writers have done it again.  You have signed up to write so many postcards that our first phase of this project is finished!  It's almost 31,000 postcards!

And a quick reminder that our new send date is April 24th.

This project  - drilling down on specific infrastructure projects in specific neighborhoods -- has been different and more difficult than our normal postcard projects.  But we know it's important, so we wanted to do it in phases, to learn and improve as we go along.  So now, our postcard project experts are busy at work making improvements and we'll be back with the next phase before you know it.

Thank you for all your hard work writing these cards!  We'll be back to you soon!

You can sign up and help save democracy!   Join our 35 Doors Project and canvass to some doors right in your neighborhood. We give you everything you need for success!  You can reply to this newsletter to learn more.

It's the very most effective and important work you can do to get voters to the polls.  And we have fun!

You can find more information about how this works in our earlier newsletter at this link.

Following up on the Anand Giridharadas The Persuaders event, Indivisible's new Powering Progress campaign is bringing you the educational tools you need to become the most effective communicator you can be.

At this event, you’ll hear from noted activist, intellectual, and professor Loretta Ross about how we must assess and adjust our communication approaches based on the person we’re talking to and how closely they already align with our goals.

When (NEW DATE):  Wednesday, March 20 at 8:00 pm ET

Where:  Zoom

We've had a lot of information in these newsletters lately and you can see all of our past newsletters on our website at this link.

And One More Thing:

This time with Oregon Senator Jeff Merkley

If you attended last week's Indivisible book event featuring Anand Giridharadas, you saw how fascinating the discussion was.  Now, you can join Indivisible’s Co-Executive Director Ezra Levin as he digs into Filibustered! by Sen. Merkley and the fight to remove one of the largest obstacles to saving American democracy in Congress.

Special Note The first 50 people to submit questions for the conversation will receive a free copy of Filibustered!

When:  Monday, February 26 at 7:00 pm ET
