Happy Friday, Activists!

We hope you've been having a good week.  We've got a lot to do and a lot coming up!

Sign up where you can.  Please go to Tuesday's newsletter at this link to see the other actions you can take.

 NO KINGS 3 IS COMING!

I bet you all know this is coming - our next No Kings is on March 28th!   And at noon we'll gather at City Hall and then march down the Ben Franklin Parkway.

To explain the plan, this time our crowd will be too big to be on Independence Mall again.  And the Art Museum is already occupied that day.  So we've come up with a plan - to have the rally at 22nd Street on the Parkway and we'll march to there, where the stage will be.  It will be beautiful - with the Art Museum in view in one direction and City Hall in view in the other direction.  Plus the beautiful country flags waiving in the wind along the way!

The rally at City Hall will begin at noon. We'll leave to march at 12:30 and the rally will begin at about 1:15 at 22nd Street.  All the roads where we'll march will be closed of course.  We'll have lots of music.  More details to follow!

AND . . . SPEAKING OF NO KINGS

WE NEED YOUR HELP PLEASE

Because Philadelphia was the anchor event for the first No Kings protest, the national Indivisible organization underwrote a large portion of the costs. So now for No Kings 3, local Indivisible chapters like ours must fund more of the cost ourselves.  We are again asking for your help with some of the costs.

Your support is crucial to make this No Kings 3 a success and show we stand against the authoritarian takeover of our government.

We have three ways for you to contribute:

1.  Join us at Le Virtu for a very special Italian dinner.  The menu will feature selections from the Abruzzo region as well as foods and wines from other regions of this very special cuisines of Italy.  The restaurant owners are generously donating to us and sharing all the profits from the dinner with us.  It is an extremely generous offer.  So the largest percentage of your reservation payment will come to us.

You can make your reservation and donation at this link. You’ll see the delicious menu and donation levels there.
