Happy Friday, Activists!
We hope you are having a good week, coping with all of it. It's a lot. But the the best way to relieve your anxiety is to do something that moves against the regime - and that data show it works. And we're here for you! See what's coming up this weekend and beyond that you can sign up for.
You can see our most recent newsletters with calls to action and other news at these links: Last Friday here and this past Tuesday here.
TOMORROW - PROTEST CITIZENS BANK - TWO LOCATIONS
![]() Citizens Bank has long financed private prison and detention facility companies even though there have been years of allegations of forced labor, healthcare neglect, and other abuses. Citizens is a lender to companies like CoreCivic and GEO Group, which have caused widespread, documented harm to people in their facilities.
In Pennsylvania, GEO operates the Moshannon Valley Processing Center, the largest ICE detention facility in the Northeast. It is where most of our neighbors are taken after ICE abducts them off the street.
Join us at our protests outside Citizen branches - this coming Saturday at the two listed below. We'll have handouts for you to give people walking by and you can bring your signs!
When: Saturday, September 27, 10:00AM to 11:30AM Where: Two locations - 1515 Market Street - Sign up here 150 South Broad Street - Sign up here

![]() COME TO NO KINGS 2.0!
The next No Kings peaceful protest will be on Saturday, October 18th. Our plan is for a rally and march from City Hall to Independence Mall where we'll have music and hear from some exciting speakers. However, please be aware that these locations may change depending on how big we expect the crowd to be. So PLEASE sign up and urge your friends to as well, so we have an idea about crowd size. Thanks!
Also, you can sign up to be a Peacekeeper (formerly called a marshal), which would really help. Training is provided if you have not already been trained.
When: Saturday, October 18, Noon - 3:00 Where: North apron of City Hall with a march to Independence Mall
