Happy Friday, Activists!
We hope you've been having a good week. Today we have more information for No Kings. We don't know about you, but we're getting excited for tomorrow's big event!
We have some ideas for you to make fun signs and some other details below. So check them out! Final reminder: We'll meet at City Hall at noon and march to Independence Mall where we'll have music and hear from some exciting speakers. So PLEASE sign up and urge your friends to as well, so we have an idea about crowd size. Thanks!
Are you taking SEPTA into Philadelphia? Here is some advice from our partners: There's a chance that trains on the R5, Paoli - Thorndale line will be full when they get to stops in Lower Merion, because a number of older train cars being pulled out of service for inspection on the orders of the NTSB following several fires. You are likely to have more success taking the Market - Frankfort line from 69th Street Station down to 15th Street/City Hall where the march will start, or 5th Street/Independence Hall where the march will end and there will be music, speakers, etc.You can either take the M/Norristown High Speed Line from any of the stops in Radnor, Lower Merion and Havertown to 69th Street Station or drive to the free parking garage at 6869 Chestnut St, Upper Darby Township, PA 19082, which is just East of 69th Street and about a block and a half from 69th Street Station.
PEACEFUL PROTEST! First, as a reminder, it is critical that everyone who attends this fantastic rally remembers that this will be a peaceful protest. It is a core principal behind all No Kings events and we know you all will embrace that ideal. You're awesome!
![]() SHOW OUR POWER AT NO KINGS 2.0!
Here's a list of some of our speakers and we'll have more surprises tomorrow. We're delighted to have Congressman Jamie Raskin, Congressman Brendan Boyle, Congresswoman Mary Gay Scanlon, Congresswoman Madeleine Dean, State Senator Vincent Hughes and City Councilmember Nicolas O'Rourke!
When: Saturday, October 18, Noon - 3:00 Where: North apron of City Hall with a march to Independence Mall

KNOW YOUR PROTEST RIGHTS
We will be handing out Know Your Rights cards during the event so be on the lookout for those. But in the meantime, you can check out the list below.
![]() FUNDRAISER UPDATE We're getting so close! A little more to go so please help. Thank you!
Thank you so much for your support during our fundraiser. We are getting closer to our goal but we aren't quite there yet. Thank you to all who have donated already and if you haven't yet, please think about helping out. You can see the options below and thank you for your support!
Our No Kings t-shirts are going like crazy! You can wear them any time (and should to show solidarity and energy to oppose the regime). If you order now you won't have yours for tomorrow but there will be more No Kings events in the future and you can wear them to those. And you'll be helping support us in this fundraiser!
Here are the two options to help us make this a super successful event.
1. You can donate $35.00 and receive a T-shirt! These are t-shirts have the No Kings logo on the front and they are super cool. You can wear yours on October 18th and show solidarity with the power of democracy. Your t-shirt will be direct shipped to you. It won't arrive in time for Saturday's event but there will be more and you can wear it then - and even before then to show your support for resisting! Fill out this form with all the information we need for your t-shirt. Donate $35.00 here so we can send you your t-shirt.
Our members' donations have always been a generous, substantial ingredient to our success and we are enormously grateful to all of you who have donated even a very small amount in the past. It all counts! You can make that donation here.
And you can go here to see all the election info - how you can help get out the YES vote for the PA Supreme Court justices and donate to their campaigns - plus other actions you can take.
