And of course, sign up here to come to our next NO KINGS rally and march! See more below.  In case you missed it, check out Tuesday's newsletter at this link for more information about the important Call to Action and events.  And of course, see below for election actions you can take. These are super important because November 4th will be here before you know it.   TWO RECENT VIDEOS  Here are the videos from our two recent meetings that you are telling us you really liked. We are grateful for you are sharing them far and wide!  PA Justices meeting video Here is the link.  Please share it far and wide so that many voters understand that they must be a voter in this election the importance of voting YES on November 4!   Professor Timothy Snyder meeting video Please share this one so people see what's at stake and can sign up to be part of our Detention Camp Labor project that Professor Snyder inspired.   CALLS TO ACTION  We have two today: 1). Are you upset about the Jimmy Kimmel shutdown?  You can call 6 ABC at (215) 878-9700, and tell them you oppose this abandonment of his and our First Amendment rights in exchange for their parent company's corporate greed. And/or you can email Gary Weitman; EVP & Chief Communications Officer, communications@nexstar.tv and tell them the same.  2). As you probably know, federal government funding runs out on September 30 – and Republicans need Democrats’ votes to clear the Senate filibuster and avoid a government shutdown. The House just now passed a short term spending bill and now it moves to the Senate. Democrats have real leverage here, and they MUST use it to protect our rights, healthcare, and essential services! During the last big funding fight, Senator Fetterman surrendered – handing Trump a blank check to sow chaos. It was outright cowardice, and we deserve better this time around and he needs a big push from us to do the right thing.  Call Senator Fetterman and tell him you expect him to fight like hell to protect our care and communities! Call Senator McCormick and tell him to publicly back BIPARTISAN funding that protects healthcare – or pay the price for causing a shutdown!  Here are the contacts: Sen. McCormick – Phila office 215-405-9660; D.C. office 202-224-6324; email link Sen. Fetterman – Phila office 215-241-1090; D.C. 202-224-4254; email link For outside PA: Find your senators’ phone numbers and emails at this link.   ![]() NO KINGS 2.0!  The next No Kings peaceful protest will be on Saturday, October 18th. Our plan is for a rally and march from City Hall to Independence Mall where we'll have music and hear from some exciting speakers. However, please be aware that these locations may change depending on how big we expect the crowd to be.
