Special Edition: Leaflet Philly! + One More Thing
Happy Wednesday, Activists!
Today is a short special edition with a reminder to sign for our Leaflet Philly Project if you haven't already. And we also have news about two efforts to help move the Clearfield County Commission end its contact for the Moshannon Detention Facility.
Of course you can check out yesterday's newsletter with all the other actions you can take at this link. |
Join the Leaflet Philly Program to bring effective messaging to your neighborhood — without even knocking on doors or talking to strangers!
You will join hundreds of your fellow Indivisible Philadelphia activists hanging eye-catching leaflets on doors in your neighborhood. It’s fun and easy.
Why leaflet? To ensure that Philadelphians recognize the harmful consequences of MAGA’s actions and can take more action themselves. Let's move people to take the next step and call their elected officials and join us too!
And don't forget, you can help us with the expenses for the door hangers themselves. You can donate to Sponsor A Hub Leader and help us with this project. We so greatly appreciate your generous support. You can sign up here and you can donate here.
This month we are reminding people to get out and vote! It's so important so please sign up. Take a look at some of our leaflets from the last few months
![]() MOSHANNON NEWS!
We have two things you can do to help move the Clearfield County Commission to end it's contract for the Moshannon Detention Center.
1. The Commissioners' vote is scheduled for Monday, September 22nd. You can go and show support to end the contract. We'll have more details soon!
2. You can contact the Commissioners and tell them that having Moshannon is a stain on our state and that we care about it because our neighbors are being taken there and are being abused. You can call 814-765-2642 ext 5051. And also email them at: jsobel@clearfieldcountypa.gov. twinters@clearfieldcountypa.gov
Thank you for taking action on this!
