Happy Tuesday, Activists ~
We hope you had a good weekend. We know there's a lot going on and most of it is hard to take. So we have several ways you can take action below. For example, did you see the Tesla protests around the country this past weekend? Our friends at Indivisible groups in Chester County, Bucks County, Montgomery County and Indivisible Lambertville/New Hope did us proud with a few protests! Watch the musical video here. More of these are coming up and are listed below. Take it to Elon!
And here's a quick, happy throwback that you might find calming. You may recall in 2020 during the Covid shutdown we featured live video feeds of animals in the wild, such as a California bald eagle pair in their nest. Well, good news! One of the pairs from those video cams has three eggs they are nesting and waiting to hatch any day now. You can see them here!
THIS FRIDAY'S PROTEST AND MARCH
Come out and show that you'll stand up against the Trump/Musk administration. We'll hear from speakers at 2nd and Chestnut in front of Senator Fetterman's office. Then we'll march to Independence Hall, the place with the room where it happened almost 250 years ago. We'll walk around the block from 5th and Chestnut to 5th and Market.
So bring your signs, your voices, your energy! See you there!
When: Friday, February 28, 2:00 PM
Where: 2nd and Chestnut Streets, march to Independence Hall
THIS FRIDAY'S SHOPPING BOYCOTT
You may have seen that there is a national call to boycott all shopping on February 28th, this coming Friday. Specifically, this means no shopping at all - on Amazon, Target, Home Depot, takeout food, everywhere, except for absolute necessities like medicine.
OUR NEXT MEETING -- DAN PFEIFFER!

Be sure to come to our next meeting! Dan Pfeiffer, one of the experts on Pod Save America, the author of three books, and of his Message Box on Substack will join us on Zoom.
Dan will talk to us about the best ways to resist the Trump/Musk agenda, and give us an informed look at how we can make the best use of our time to engage others in meaningful action. As Senior Advisor and Assistant to President Barack Obama, Dan understands the workings of the Federal Government and the levers that are used to enforce – and block -- Presidential powers.
In this time of what many call a Constitutional crisis, we need to hear from those whose ideas are based in practical solutions.
When: Monday, March 10th, 5:00 PM
Where: Zoom
YOUR CALLS TO ACTION
Help Stop The SAVE Act -- As early as this week, the House could vote on H.R. 22 (the SAVE Act) -- one of the biggest threats to voting rights we’ve seen in a generation. The bill requires voters to show proof of citizenship documents in person that match their current legal name -- something tens of millions of Americans simply don’t have. It’d cause massive challenges for married women and trans and nonbinary people who’ve changed their names, and disproportionately impact people of color. Here is a lot more info (including key Members of Congress needed to stop the bill) here.
Contact our Representatives. Tell them to stay strong and vote NO on the SAVE Act:
